my sound of right now

g'day

Well, what I really mean to say is 'good day' - as that is exactly what today has been.
A 10 hour work day, a walk to Racecourse Road, a Tarot reading (with a positive and promising future - grain of salt of course, but gotta love that), a relaxing evening at home, finishing the day with a little housekeeping before a novel in bed.

Nana? I think not.
Content - more than I have felt in quite some time.
Positive. Heck yes.
Why? Why not.

Second semester (and my last semester) begins next week - so life will be jam-packed from there on for the next six months study wise. Scary and exciting all at once. It's about time I've got to this point.

What has your Tuesday consisted of?
I do hope it was a happy one.
Here's to bright futures all 'round huh?
P.S. Did I tell you how much I love roast pumpkin?
M-m-mmmm!

to the stars

This is the front of the Baptism invite I designed for my little Godson, Jupiter.
Here, Little Boy Blue heralds the arrival of the wee one and announces to those nearest and dearest the particulars of such a special event.

Family, love.

Khaki, crimson, spots, fur, leather, tan, black, aviators and attitude to boot.
I want this look... a trip somewhere really cold perhaps?

road less travelled?

Delightful, isn't it?
Thanks Michi.

Find all her weird and wonderful finds here. She'll even email you all week, and forcast the weather for you Melbournians. Ah, convenience.

weather report

Thanks to Michi Girl, it's more than likely 'cloudy with a chance of unicorns'.
Don't you just love fashion that has a story to tell?

in transition

It's been while now hasn't it? So much has happened in the last couple of months, but more so in the last two weeks. Janey has a new job, her sister is home from NSW (recovering from a tonsilectomy) and I am OFFICIALLY a Godmum to baby, Jupiter Winston Butler Castro. Yes, he has arrived. Only a few short weeks until I meet the wee one and more of the Castro family at his Baptism in early August.
What a celebration that will be!

It's an odd time as far as my blog goes... my spare time hasn't been so much of late and I like to delve right into my blog entries or be more 'in the moment' (a-la-on-the-computer-all-day-kind-of-inspired) and I guess my focus has been elsewhere.

I've begun working at Suite Commuter Coffee and have more freelance booked in for the end of the month and on-going weeks. I was talking to my Aunty (who is a fabulous Copywriter - wordshop.com.au) at how comfortable you can get, regardless of happiness when you don't have to change... and when change is thrust upon, no options available, how life seems to change for the better. I think I have been needing a change for quite some time, and I'm ready for this new challenge.

My last semester and the world shall again, be my oyster.

How do you feel at this point in your life?
I feel more refreshed than anything I guess. I feel like I'm taking on more purposeful roles and my creative career is budding nicely.

Forgive me if I'm a little flighty, here and there, but I promise some excitement and interesting posts soon.

I'm in transit.

Loving it.

And I'm here.

So let's paint the world with colour.
